The winners, selected by a judging panel of top cleantech and business leaders, received $10,000 and will go on to represent the Northeast at the Cleantech Open Global Forum in Los Angeles, CA in January and compete with emerging environmental and energy tech firms for the national grand prize.

A group of 17 startups were selected to join the new Life Lab, a Harvard-based community of growth-stage life sciences startups. Teams were selected based on factors that include their science, stage of development, and their potential for impact.
